Shadow: ROSE!!

He runs to the edge and reaches for her hand but rose pulls her hand away.

Shadow: ROSE!!!!!!

Rose flips over so her head was facing the ground and sticks her arms out to form a diving position. Then she turns over so her feet were now facing the ground. She was 5 stories from the ground when she landed on a flagpole sticking out of the building. The force was strong enough to catapult her to the top of a even taller building across the street. As she past shadow she waved and it seemed the moment froze. The it sped up again and in 2 seconds see was out of site. Shadow falls on his butt in amazement.

Shadow: h-how did she d-do that?! She knew where to turn with her eyes closed the whole time! She is tru- WAIT! Why am I chasing her?! It must be this feeling!*grabs chest* this feeling . . . that hurts . . . knowing that rose . . . doesn't want to be by me*tear and releases chest* *looks at building across the street* I should just go home. She will come back . . . I hope. *walks home*

Rose: *15 buildings away**falls to knees*pant pant*looks back*pant look like he's not chasing me anymore. That's good*starts to cry* OH WHO AM I TRYING TO KID?! I NEED SHADOW! I NEED HIM BY MY SIDE! But . . . I don't think he needs me . . . He got to see his old friend or should I say GIRLFRIEND and god added me in to fill my heart with pain and sorrow.*looks into a puddle and sees shadow* shadow . . . *a tear rolls of her cheek and into the puddle and the picture of shadow disappears leaving only her reflection* I am . . . useless to everyone . . . I have no purpose . . . I always get in the way . . .*grabs broken arm* always . . .

[3 hours later on shadow's porch]

Shadow: *looks at clock* it's already 7:00. It has been 3 hours and I'm getting a bit worried.

Midnight: *rubbing sleep from eye* what are you worried about?

Shadow: nothing . . . *walks inside*

Midnight: *thinking* hmm . . . something's up and I'm going to find out what! I wonder if rose knows anything.

Midnight walks to the guess room and knocks on the door

Midnight: rose? Are you up? *she opens the door a bit and Rosie comes out and rubs against her legs* Huh? Rosie? Shouldn't rose be giving you this attention? *she opens the door to see rose gone* rose?! ROSE?! *runs to shadow* SHADOW! ROSE IS MISSING WE HAVE TO FIND HER!

Shadow's ears bent down

Midnight: shadow?

Shadow: she . . . is . . .

Midnight: she is where?!

Shadow: I-I-I don't know! *sad*

Midnight: *face goes straight* shadow . . . what happened between you and Black Rose?
